  • About JISD 

    Joshua Independent School District, which was established in 1902, encompasses 76 square miles in the Burleson, Crowley, Joshua, Egan and Cleburne communities of Johnson County. Known for its small school advantages and big school opportunities, Joshua ISD is now a fast-growth district. Currently the third largest district in Johnson County, JISD is expected to add nearly 2,000 additional students in the next 10 years. The district is accredited by the Texas Education Agency and has a TEA rating of A. Serving a population of approximately 28,500, Joshua strives to provide a variety of quality educational opportunities in an outstanding instructional program for Pre-K through 12th grade.
