Long is no stranger to NHHS, having spent the last 23 years working at the campus. Most recently, she was the Assistant Principal at NHHS. She served in that role for 12 years. Before her administrative role, Long spent 11 years as a teacher and coordinator of Alternative School Services at NHHS.
