Joshua High School senior Luke Breedlove, who was named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program

Join us in congratulating Joshua High School senior Luke Breedlove, who was named a Commended Student in the 2024 National Merit Scholarship Program!

Breedlove earned this recognition by scoring in the top 2-3% of students who took the Pre-SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in 2022. Approximately 1.3 million high school juniors take the PSAT/NMSQT each year. 

"Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success," commented a spokesperson for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. "These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.
