The Joshua High School Congressional Debate team competed at the UIL Region 11 5A Tournament earlier this week, and all three participants earned their way into the finals and placed in the top eight!

Rehder Myhre placed second and has qualified for the state tournament in the spring! He was also named the Outstanding Presiding Officer.

Sierra Stilson came in sixth and Kaylee Yuan was seventh.

To prepare for the tournament, the three students read, researched and crafted cases for over twenty bills and resolutions set on the Region 11 Congress Docket.
