Spirit of Joshua Band make program history at TMEA All-Region auditions

Spirit of Joshua Band TMEA 30 All-Region Band members

The Spirit of Joshua Band made history at the Region 30 Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) All-Region Band auditions, with 32 members earning seats! The SOJ bested their previous high of 23. 
 
Freshman Band honors: Ian Bauer, Mathew Carter, Mariana Dominguez, Demetrius Folsom, Tobias Hollman, Lucas Hutto, Aubree Moore, Daniella Reyes, Zoe Smith and Amaya Washington.
 
Concert Band honors: Allison Boyanton, Julian Bustamante, Kellan Flanigan, Arfan Hossain, Thandeka Kabo, Caden Moran, Austin Rees, Lauren Rogers, Jacob Pena, Stetson Turnbeaugh, and Addison Zelazny.
 
Symphonic Band honors: Esther Aguirre, Luke Breedlove, Joey Buhl, Martin Castillo, Jaxon Dial, Layton Haydin, Riley Husch, Noah Johnson, Melody Sanchez, Nickolas Smith and Shane Waits.
 
In addition, seven members are moving on to compete for a seat in the TMEA All-State Band. They are Luke Breedlove, Joey Buhl, Jaxon Dial, Layton Haydin, Riley Husch, Nickolas Smith and Shane Waits.
